What is a bridal trial like?
Relaxing, pleasant, and thorough. Nicolette will take the time to get to know you and your bridal beauty vision. Around two hours, this will be an ideal time to "get on the same page" by discussing and trying different looks.
What three beauty products can you not live without?
Nicolette loves a great black eyeliner, eyebrow pencil, and dewy full-coverage foundation.
Do you accommodate large parties?
Yes, and if need be, Nicolette will bring on another makeup artist.
Can you do ethnic makeup?
Absolutely. Nicolette has worked on African American, Hispanic, Indian, Middle Eastern, and Asian women.
Where were you trained?
I was trained at the Lia Schorr Institute of Cosmetic Skincare in New York City, and I have taken fine art classes for many years. I also received two bachelor’s degrees in journalism and French language from Rutgers University and continued my studies abroad in France, Canada, and Poland.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Make sure you are well-hydrated. Communicate any skin/eye concerns or allergies to Nicolette. Come presentable. You can bring photos. Treat your skin nicely beforehand.
Do you personally do hair?
Yes, light to moderate hairstyling can be offered when requested, but I do not personally do intricate bridal updos. I can make recommendations for bridal hair.
Do you do airbrush?
Yes.
Should I bring my own products to an appointment?
I have a fully equipped kit, but at times, customers prefer using some of their own products and colors.
What will an experience with you be like?
A true professional, I strive for excellence, and my customers are of the utmost importance! I am a trained artist having studied color theory and through direct experience in the industry, I understand the importance of underlying pigmentation, hair tones, facial structure, and complexion into the final result. I am also someone who professionally works behind and in front of the camera.
What will an experience with you be like at my wedding?
I do not do cookie-cutter bridal makeup. I take your unique makeup style, comfort level, facial structure, age, skin type, season, and wedding attire into consideration while listening to your vision and sharing my own advice. I am also not a “wedding factory” but a boutique bridal makeup artist.
Do you do same-sex couples or LGBTQ weddings?
Yes, everyone deserves to look and feel beautiful on his or her wedding day!
Do you charge a travel fee?
On occasion, yes. This is to cover wear and tear on the vehicle, added time to travel to your destination, tolls, parking, and gas.
Do you travel long distances for assignments?
Yes.

Anything and everything high end, professional, and long-lasting. Brands I have used in my career include MAC, Bobbi Brown, Temptu, Nars, Doll 10, Elemis, Lancome, Eve Pearl, Smashbox, Lorac, Graftobian, Clinique, Arbonne, and so much more. Products are all professional, high-end, and tried and tested.
How do you handle skin concerns?
For specific skin concerns, it is best to communicate these with me in advance.

Everything is sanitized and kept clean from brushes to tools to cosmetics.
